New !!s Procs

Right now SCs and MBs tend to not be used. Adding !!s procs for SCs and MBs would really bring them back. Give the players something rewarding for using old game mechanics that require teamwork as opposed to the solo/duoing most content.

This could be in Dynamis, Voidwatch, Abyssea, or upcoming content.

Procs are only a good idea inside abyssea, more procing is not what this game needs, have you seen how they mutilated dynamis currency?

You're right they don't need random procs off the mobs that ruin old systems that were in place, but there should be procs that reward the player for using Game Mechanics correctly that support team work and diversity in jobs. This is an MMO after all where you play with others.

I'll say what I said in the other thread about the same thing in the past 2 days. This will just give rise to spamming WAR/SAM and SAM/NIN (or /DNC or /RNG) as the "it" jobs. Sekkanokki, Meditate, Store TP, and access to every skillchain in the game, these jobs will pretty much be the only jobs used to proc in such a way. As for magic bursts, that really would only change when a BLM has to nuke not the job that would be doing it.

They need to up the effectiveness of these game functions not add proc'ing to them, or add new skillchains that can only be executed if you have a specific job(s) in the party.

So then SE needs to figure out a way to make most proc'ing job specific. But personally I wouldn't mind if proc'ing was never seen again outside Abyss... Ever, ever again.
