I've been considering this for a while and posted in another thread, but want to get it a bit of exposure just to see how it flies.
In reply to the prospect of changing race/name (which I'm in disagreement with):
I wouldn't be opposed to changing hairstyle though, that would help freshen things up after a while and it doesn't effect anything or screw around with your character's existence in the world. Maybe they could even add some new ones (paid) to use in the service of changing your character's hairstyle (fee).
This isn't morphing your character or anything, as if to piss on the game's integrity, but just getting a haircut. Obviously people eventually get tired of looking at the same thing for huge amounts of time (See: 100's of threads about changing race), and I think this is a pretty strong compromise that solves that problem while not effecting the game.
Change Hairstyle: $14.99
(From preexisting set or purchased set)
New Hairstyle1a + New Hairstyle1b: $9.99
New Hairstyle2a + New Hairstyle2b: $9.99
New Hairstyle3a + New Hairstyle3b: $9.99
I would prefer it to be overpriced a bit, just to discourage everyone from going crazy with it. It would also be very profitable (I know a ton of people would use this service), so maybe it could go towards the future development of new content and expansions that we all want.
