I have an interesting idea. Do ya remember the moster hunt board in ff12? Well what if we implement that into this game by making it a Mission / Quest board. We could have a M/Q board to add stuff to in the 4 main cities, Sandy,windy,bastok, and jeuno.

The way peaple would add to the board would be to link the players actuall quest/mission's they have active in their log to the board. When you click on the m/q board it would list what all you have active then you can choose weither or not you wanna post something to that board.

Ideally best placement for that board would be in the Tavern in all the cities.

Her's an example, Lets say you have the quest Eco-Warrior listed as a quest. You go to the board and add it to it. Someone else comes along and check to see whats availeble and they see someone else needing that. That person could then contact the originial person who posted that to try and set that up to do. Just another way of doin it besides /shouing in Jeuno and those post's would stay on there for like, maybe 3 days, real time so you wont hafta stand and shout cause its alrdy visible to other players just by checking that board.

And also have um all linked as one, kinda like what they did with the AH's recently. Thank you SE for that ^^.

This is already in the game - Hunt Registry tomes located in all the main cites.

They are red in color and look just like the FoV and GoV tomes.

Have fun.

I like the idea listed above. Such things may get people to actually gather in groups in other area other than Lower Jueno to shout.

@Crica

He isn't talking about hunting monsters. He's saying it would be nice to have a tiding board where to write down quests we need help with. Sort of like /search comments, except people won't have to search you to see your comment.

If it is awesome, like it! I did! It will get the developers (hopefully) to look at it.

The problem is that people would be required to check the mission/quest board, and the posters would have to be online 24/7. And then there's the problem of PS2 limitations.

Using shouts and forum posts is still the best way to do it. Shouts have the added advantage that people can tell their linkshell members that someone is shouting for a particular mission.
