Ninja AFv3 Feet

I have spent the last 5 days farming for these stupid things for a good 5 or 6 hours a day, I have ALL the other feet drop multiple times!
Why the hell wont ninja drop, ive contacted 2 GM's to ask whats up, and the last one {GM}Ektakus suggested I post here, he was very helpful!!

Soooo, increase the damn drop rates of ninjar? Ive seen EVERYTHING else, (PUP 9 times....)

Ninja AF feet drop rate is nasty. Took me three months of off and on "shoe farming" parties to get my nin shoes. (with competent players and capping lights) Really making us work for the pre-requisite worth while +2s that's for sure.

Only thing I can suggest is keep trying. I think there was a post a while back that currently the dev team sees nothing wrong with the current drop rate of shoes. (boo)

Murphy's law...they'll drop when you are going after something else...


Random is random, and their system is just wonky that way. You can go weeks trying to get something and give up. Then, 6 months later you're passing through and see the NM and one shot it..get the drop, but you don't need it anymore.

All I can say is put the word out that you are after it... put it up in your /seacom and bazaar comment. you may be surprised to get a /tell one day... |Ninja| |feet| |Armor|... |Do you need it?|.

It actually DOES happen. True story. I was after my DRG feet...last piece I needed from there, already had all my seals. Got over a dozen feet for LS mates while solo farming them on my NIN for about a week straight with it up in my /seacom. Got a tell from a BST out of the blue that had them in pool, asked if I still needed them. Got my feet, hung around to help him kill the funguar and get proc to get his last seals and we /danced.

This is going to happen when there is 20 pairs of shoes to drop. You are at the mercy of an random system that I guarantee you is even across the board for all feet. Sometimes you luck out. Most of the time you won't. Some people are just gifted with luck. Some people get the shaft like no other. That's how these things go down. It's the best you can hope for without stuff being handed to you on a silver platter, for example: Show up as ninja to farm Empyrean feet from chests, and only the ninja feet will drop. Might as well skip the trouble of chests and sell it to you via the NPC. Which they already do for all empyrean armor except feet.

Why dont the devs reply? Thisis a joke now, 100 stones out in, EVERY otehr pair of damn shoes. not Ninja....
I want to get them at a damn NPC!!!

might need to check the state of the martello core before you start farming for them. need 06/07 cores. Took a SAM out tonight, we had 1 of one core and 2 of the other... forget if it was chest spawn or treasure yeild that was higher--the point is they were both at an elevated state. The second T1 VNM we killed dropped small gold chest...SAM feet were in it. didn't even bother with farming lights. Went right into farming his seals. We also got all 8 seals. Think we spent 3 or 4 of his stones doing it (zoned out once so he could change to BLM for proc). Only 3 of mine, so was about 3 hours total time in there.

That's pretty much how I farmed my last feet in Vunkerl and Misereaux--for the most part, I did it solo. Took others out a few times to get their feet, and it worked for them too. If they don't have BOTH 06/07 cores... I didn't even bother.
