How do i get the barret (2011 collectors)

Do i need to re-download the whole game or something?
or how exactly do i get the code to get the hat?

You buy the new Ultimate Collection, put the code in as a reward code under options in POL, and then retrieve the hat from a Festive Moogle in town...

I have done all of those steps and went to the moogle and by accident hit wait to claim item...now the moogle doesnt offer the item. I have tried re-logging on and even zoning out....nothing has worked.. could somebody please help?
