View Full Version : I'm Stuck! Crash on load.

I entered Abyssea - Uleguerand about half an hour ago, and as the zone loaded, PlayOnline crashed. Now every time I try to log in, the zone loads up, and crashes. My Visitant Status has worn off, so the text box SAYS that I'm being exited from the zone, but the client always crashes, and when I try to log back in I'm still in Abyssea.

I'm not getting any specific error message, and I've run a file re-check just in case something got at my files. Created a mule to contact a GM but was directed right back here without even getting to speak to a GM to Support and Forums. Any suggestions? :/

Interesting, I had a similar problem over the weekend when I teleported to Tahrongi Canyon. As soon as I zoned in there POL crashed. I logged back in several times and each time it crashed immediately when the zone loaded. I ended up logging in from another computer with no problem. I moved my character to a different zone and then I was able to log back in on the original computer with no errors.

Were you able to re-enter Tahrongi after that?

I could try logging in via my 360, but it hasn't updated in like, 2 years. :/ I don't know if I can find the discs either, heh. Though I guess if that's the only option, it'll have to do.

UPDATE:

I've installed and done a full update of the game on my laptop, and that worked to get me OUT, however the laptop isn't the greatest for playing games [though it was enough to take care of this]... I would like to continue playing, but if I'm not able to enter Abyssea-Uleg anymore, I'll have some problems.

I had the same trouble in Hall of Transference. By the sounds of it, there were more than a few people with similar issues in different zones. I too tried contacting a GM from a mule. I didn't notice until an hour later when I went to send a new GM call that the help desk now had a new message telling me they couldn't help me. Why they can't just /tell you that I don't know. I had to uninstall and reinstall the entire game to get it to work again.

i`ve not been able to play for 48hrs already, GM said they cant help and to contact SE support, well just got and answer from them 10 min ago saying they cant do anything via e-mail and to resubmit problem and they`ll get back w/in 48hrs and then gotta talk to chat support for help. this is the biggest bunch of shit from SE. if you look down in forum you`ll see about 40+ others that have had problems for days and SE cant help or dont know what to do >< the dumbasses overloaded the servers to save money and screwed us, now we have to deal with the consequences. good job SE u idiots ><

This has been happening to me now for the past few days. Except, it's when I log out. I can't log back in. Last time it took 10 minutes to get back into the game. This time it's been over an hour. Square hasn't learned anything from FF14. They didn't listen to their customers then and they still refuse to today. I guess it's why FF14 is still broken, and why this problem with FF11 will go unfixed as well. I'm very close to just canceling my subscription. If I don't cancel soon, I definately will when Guild Wars 2 or The Old Republic come out.

I'm having the same problem, and I was also in Jeuno. I was auto-following a friend while I went to take my dog out, returned to my character being d/c'd mid-entering another map. And ever since then, I cannot log into my character. Just keep getting error 3001. It has been happening since 5pm yesterday. And, It not only happens on my PC, it happens on two different xbox's. I for one, see a pattern with everyone saying it was Jeuno they were leaving/inside, you can't say it is just a coincidence. Not trying to be rude, but I would like to actually get my moneys worth and be able to play the game. If I can't play before the upcoming monday, i'm just going to cancel my account, and not touch another SE game. Because there is no point of paying for an error code.

I look forward to your response on how that goes. Because I freshly installed it on an xbox, and it didn't work for me. :/

A complete reinstall fixed it. I don't know what the original problem was, however. :/
