Apparently only the Japanese are priviliged to obtain the ultimate edition...
Square-Enix is not talking to the community to provide some info on the matter...

LOL, I had a feeling this would happen, unless it's just taking them longer to get it out to NA/EU :/

Why would it take them longer its a digital download, if its on one server its good to go.

I've been waiting since it was announced to buy this... why did they release an English trailer if they weren't going to let us buy it...

For any release, be it physical or digital, the publisher is responsible for getting the product to the retailer to be sold on a specific date. It is then the responsibility of the individual retailer to begin selling the product on that date.
Just as we have no control over a brick and mortar storefront taking time to physically stock the product on the store shelves, we have no control over when a digital retailer begins listing the product for sale and download, beyond setting the street date.
