ISP: Bredbandsbolaget
Type of Internet Connection: Cable
Internet Connection Speed: 100Mbps
Date & Time: May. 13, 2011 22:00 CET
Frequency: Once (did not reproduce)
Character Name: Mellowy
Race: Mithra
World: Phoenix
Main Job: Summoner, Lv.90
Support Job: White Mage
Area and Coordinates: Abyssea Uleguerand, Around the gears at the VNM spot
Party or Solo: Alliance of about 15 people
NPC Name: N/A
Monster Name: Ogopogo
Steps:

1. I was using Ramuh against Ogopogo due to his high water resist rate.
2. During the fight Ramuh was hit by waterga IV (or was it III?) and took about 150 damage at most. Pretty normal.
3. At the end of the battle Ogopogo 2 hours as normal, and did 2700 damage to Ramuh. That doesn't seem right, and since you had admitted Titan did too much damage, I felt like you might have accidentally done the same to Ogopogo/Leviathan.
4. It did however seem to do reasonable damage to others in party, like about 2-3k with barwater and shell V on. So maybe the error lies with Ogopogo's 2 hour simply isn't water based but darkness based or something else tricky.

Didn't think it was magic damage at all, since it's nullified by Fanatic's Drink rather than Fool's Drink.

It's magic damage, but it's a TP move. Fanatic's Drink nullifies TP moves even if they're magic damage. Similarly, Fool's fails to affect magic damage from TP moves.

Unless it was changed somewhere, it is water damage; barwatera with 4/5 Orison +2 set can proc and annul the damage from it. It could be that part of its gimmick is that it has abnormally high accuracy, since Ogopogo cannot die until he has used Tidal Wave, and always uses it at 1%. Perhaps you could try with Leviathan out and see if it still is unresisted?
