View Full Version : Revial of Existing Areas (Non-Abyssea)
Please don't nerf exp from Grounds of Valor. Getting 2k+ a page from Garlaige Citadel IN ADDITION to the monster's standard exp is awesome
This is the answer to Abyssea leeching everyone's been clamoring about. Don't screw this up SE and nerf it.

only vaguely states you are "adjusting" exp gained upon completion of a tome.

The answer to not having to be in abyssea, is atma everywhere. Doesn't have to be specifically abyssea atma though, but things that let you customize the job depending on what you plan to do, and avoid boring parts like resting MP.

Hopefully they're increasing it - bump that up to 5k or so exp a page and you're competitive with Abyssea in terms of additional exp given (Dom OPs vs this).

They also need to remove the "wait a day" thing on regimens for getting tabs + gil. This is another way that abyssea is still vastly superior. You can get cruor/dominion notes per page without having to wait. I don't know why they think getting tabs/gil per page (without waiting) would be broken, it's not like we can spend tabs on much more than temporary buffs (which, honestly, suck at level 90, why would I get 1mp/tick refresh just because it lasts a hour? It overrides better refresh and it screws sch too). That being said, the RR buffs are...ok (though not really necessary).
I cant believe this was actually suggested...Why? it makes perfect sense.

So I guess now that Atma's were introduced, people just wont get over the idea of them.
Why don't people reply to my "Reviving PvP & Ballista" thread? Something wrong with wanting to have variety in types of gameplay?

I can. And if they're going to put this proc garbage into Abyssea - Dynamis, they might as well give us freaking atma of some kind there too!

The game is not made for PvP. Most people play for the PvE part of the game. Mage jobs can kill DDs with no problem bind nuke, sleep nuke so many ways of killing DDs. My fav DD to go on blu on the rare times I done it, are drgs they come with thier own mp jars to suck mp out of. Though they might put up a bit more of a fight now that they don't have to cast a spell to heal them selfs but im sure I could sleep thier wyverns once they burn spirt link. Though I still rather see real content then crap PvP then them trying to adjust jobs to be on a level playing field in a event almost no one bothers with.
That was the biggest draw of FF11, it didn't have world PvP. There are so many games that offer that none of which I would touch had my fill when I tried WoW. Nothing like getting one shot by some radom high level being a dick.

Well, I'd do Ballista if they removed the penalty on changing gear. And to fix that you'd need to fix blinking of characters. And that is said to be impossible for SE. Which in the end means Ballista is impossible to enjoy.

Thanks man, I played some Brenner today and it was amazing fun. And I thumbs up your Duel Idea too.
Also @Malamasala: I don't think the not being able to change gear is too bad, it's more about certain abilities and such that you need to use and timing with spells and etc. Plus always having to switch gear can give players with more equipment available to them a huge advantage. Would take out the fun for people who don't have super-duper equipment.
