Ok guys, here's the deal, I know there's been a lot of talk about adding new avatars to our arsenal, one of my favorite suggestions was to add the 4 new elementals from heroes zones.

Byrgen - Dark/Earth
Ungeweder - Wind/Thunder
Gefyrst - Water/Ice
Baelfyr - Light/Fire


Well, I'm not particularly here to talk about them... I thought it would be neat to add that creepy doll from avatar battles to our lineup. I'm not sure what it's official name is but it is named a Sluice Surveyer Mark I in the Black Mage Artifact Hat quest; It is a key item given to you by Professor Koru-Moru. So, when I decided to go out and fought a few avatars to get a picture of the guy when I claim my 10,000 gil. I went out and got these pictures from Mhaura, these are from Ramuh's reward cutscenes.

I'm not here to talk about him either! I actually noticed something extra in the cutscene that I seem to have missed in these past 8 years that I've been playing FFXI. Some Tarutaru off in the distance behind my character. I'm bringing it to all of your attention since I'm not certain he or she has not been brought up yet or mentioned before in these official forums either.

Awww poopie... Nope! Haha, I just rushed through cut scenes and got my pigaches about some years back to upgrade them through limbus runs. Never bothered going further into the summoner artifact quests... Oh ya and my pants... Oh well!

Oh wait, I quested pants and had to go to canal for boots... But yeah, thanks for the help guys, looks like I'm gonna flag the quest for SMN horn and finish that up... At least I can toss unused gear with Porter Moogle now... Guess that's the reason I never bothered finishing it up... Wish they'd incorporate some characters further... It's not like this guy gets as much spot light as Shantotto, Naja or Cid's Teeth...

That Tarutaru is the person who makes the Tarutaru NPCs get amnesia every time they give you the quest. Apparantly wants to get control of the avatars or something, everytime you get a reward from the whisper you can see him walking towards you, I've never noticed him in the cloisters before though :o

I personally think that it's a good find and I learned something new lol.

Yeah, he's not very well implemented in the same manner in avatar cut scenes as he is in SMN AF, doesn't seem to have as much exposition on his motives in the quest cutscenes is all...
