I have googled how to whitelist ip's but there is no step by step guide on how to.Everyone of them tells u start a file an other stuff thats not descriptive as if i know what im doing.. I am lost on how to do this,i have the list of ip's but where do i input the info?

I was hoping Raist was online,he knows more than any1 on tech support. I know how to fidget with command prompt and port forwarding but other than that im not that tech savvy.

Can anyone tell how to by means of explaining it like ur telling a 10 year old? U know... like "hit the start menu,go to control panel,etc.." an so forth.I would greatly appreciate it.I use Windows7 and a Linksys E3000 router.

I havent been able to play in months,my isp is filtering to block torrents and yet all they blocked was me from connecting to the FFXI server.I get to the accept or decline screen, hit accept,It hangs at 65% at setting up connection then after 2 mins tells me "Error code:FFXI-3113 Protocol Timeout error".

Ive tried everything, this is my last resort before i try to convince my SGT to let me move off base so i dont have this issue.....

GM's give this advice:
3. If you are receiving the error FFXI - 3113 - Protocol Timeout Error, ensure that Client for Microsoft Networks is installed in your Windows network properties. If it is installed, you may want to try uninstalling and reinstalling it.

Yea,done that many times to no avail.Thats not the issue.
