i was disconnected from a server on March 12, 11:30 pm ES, when i tried to reconnect my Play Online Viewer had some Japanese Letters and Symbols where my Member Name used to be and Play Online ID was empty, when i clicked on them or any other button on first page, i would get an error and Play Online Viewer would close.
I have tried restarting computer and Play Online Viewer several times.
At 10:00 am EST March 13, i downloaded a new Play Online Viewer, for Vista version from Official web site, entered my old member information, and after clicking "play" button, i receive Error: 020 - Unable to start Final Fantasy XI because it is not installed. Kvadrat,

If you have already confirmed that FINAL FANTASY XI is properly installed on your system, then more than likely what has happened is that you obtained and installed the Vista Compatible version of the PlayOnline Viewer for the wrong region. While FINAL FANTASY XI has been released internationally, the software is still region-specific to the three regions it has launched in: North America, Europe, and Japan.

We would recommend uninstalling the version of the PlayOnline Viewer you have currently installed, and then return to the PlayOnline website for the region of your original software purchase to download the correct PlayOnline Viewer for your region.
