It doesn't matter whether it is an group of people failing at procs, or that just plain suck horribly at the NM they are fighting, auto-reraise zombie'ing, or a solo player using a ridiculously fail strategy that takes hours, no abyssea NM should be held over an hour. Back in the day certain NMs were given rage to counter holding that was being done to ensure the monsters repop would be doing that groups timezone. I'm asking for the purpose to be extended to abyssea NMs in the event they are held to long. And I would like this rage to be burtal. An instant "you lose" no matter what kind of gear and atma you have. Ignoring -damage taken effects, gaining flee speed, massive auto haste...You take long enough to rage the mob, you die.
Now this still does not address the other reason people holler about their wasted time, which is a group popping multiple back to back that won't anyone else take a turn. I'm not sure what would be best there. I could suggest a short cooldown before anyone form that party/alliance could pop again that was short enough to not hold them back to long when nobody else is even there but then people would have a character sitting outside the alliance to pop. Multiples of the same NM up could create its own problems, or people could just hog them all. But a strong rage mode would at least curb the recent whining about how the NM they wanted was unavailable for to long because of someone else's long battle, because if it truly was to long the mob will rage and end it.
