Dead Aim does not seem to currently affect critical hits on ranged weaponskills such as Arching Arrow. I tested this in Ronfaure against targets where ranged damage is completely capped and will do the same damage on every shot unless it crits (which before the update would do 25% more damage) This was done with a Hume 90RNG/45SAM with no gear but a Short Bow +1 and Wooden Arrows and 5 STR merits. All tests were performed at point blank to eliminate any variance from True Shot. Normals shot did 81 every time with critical hits landing for 141, an increase to 75% extra damage. Arching Arrow on the other hand would normally hit for 576 but would only critically hit for 720, a 25% increase the same as before the update. If Dead Aim was working with it, it should have critically hit for 1008 damage with a 75% damage bonus.

Steps:
I was checking to see how Dead Aim affected the damage of ranged critical hits. I had no gear equipped but a Short Bow +1 and Wooden Arrows. I had Velocity Shot active and my character has 5 STR merits. All shots were performed within melee range to prevent True Shot's damage bonus from interfering with the results. Against those particular mobs with that setup, ranged attacks will always do 81 damage on a normal hit. A critical hit before the update would have done 101 damage, a 25% bonus. When I did the test, critical hits now did 141 damage, showing that Dead Aim has increased the damage bonus to 75%. When I tested Arching Arrow, it did 576 damage on a normal hit, however, it would only do 720 damage on a critical hit. That is only a 25% increase, the same as before the update, therefore, Dead Aim is not being applied to Arching Arrow, and possibly all ranged weaponskills that can deal critical damage.
