I wanted to look up some hand-to-hand information for a calculator I'm making (I have little to no hand-to-hand experience myself), but for some reason I'm finding very little info on that on Wiki. And what I find I'm not sure I should believe, and since it isn't either PUP or MNK specific, I figured I'll ask here.

Weapon Rank
Damage on weapon description + 3. True or false? If false, how is it calculated?

TP gain
Is it treated like dual wielding weapons with 240 base delay each? Is it calculated before or after Martial Arts is applied? Combined delay?

Delay
Does Martial Arts count towards the delay cap?

floor((D+3)/9)

Total delay incl weapon and -MA then divide by two an dinput in wiki formula

yes you need to sum weapon delay and use 480 as base delay then take 20%

Thanks for the reply.

floor((D+3)/9)

So the highest possible weapon rank Hand-to-Hand combattants can attain is 5? And was 2 at 75?

Yes. The only exception is neked H2H I think and latent effect weapons like wagh bargnaks.

eh... don't stress over the math. Just get your skill up, pump up the haste, and try your best to survive.... (jk)

But seriously...the more you try to figure it out, the more confused you may get. I gave up on the math long ago and just go test stuff. Granted, it means I'm forever tweaking the job...but that just keeps things interesting.

As I said, it's for a calculator I'm making. Although an adaptive learning calculator that works on log files sounds interesting too.. would probably help figuring out correct pDIF values/formulas.
