New, looking for server

I'm new. Well, actually I have played before. Highest I have gotten is 18 though. I played last year, and since most of my friends have quit.

So what I'm looking for is a high populated server, where there are plenty of LS's, friendly players. I hate waiting an hour to find a group >.>

I hear Sylph is high in population, and from what I have read, it looks like I might go there. Just hoping for some insight from people who play the game.

According to the database there, Asura has the most people on it at the moment. I don't know if that's still true after the world merge, though. Either way, all that the people in Asura do is sit around in Port Jueno and shout about abyssea.

In my experience, Sylph is kind of a graveyard. Though, that might just be everywhere because of Abyssea. I was thinking of transferring to either Phoenix or Asura, but hesitate on the possibility the grass is dead on the other side too.

Well, I started on Sylph. It's not dead at all. Every time I do a /sea all, there's never less than 1500.

Only problem is that I started a Hume, and I really don't know the area. I think I'm going to restart, make an Elvaan on Asura...
