Port Sandy... Ok.
Port Lastok... Ok.
HEAVENS TOWER?!... WTF?
Sandy's NPCs are only 2 squares away from the mog house. Lastok's NPCs, you don't even have to cross the bridge. But Windurst? Why is it that us Windurstians have to run across an entire zone to a different zone just to get to these same NPCs whereas the other nations mearly have exit thier MH?
DEVteam, please explain yourself.

But the mithras don't need the exercise. In fact they're in GREAT shape!

I can only imagine they're just sticking with a theme of nothing being located conveniently in Windurst. Like it's the "scenic city" or something, and they expect you to run back and forth to marvel in it's full splendor every time.

Here's my suggetion, put them next to the OP NPCs.

As a Windurstian, I'd like to say that nothing at all is currently preventing me from simply using Horst and Joachim in Port Jeuno.

It takes like 1-3 minutes from any windurst zone to get to heaven's tower... This is seriously nitpicking.

Every nation can exit their rent-a-room and walk about 30 yalms in Jeuno... these NPCs are an alternative, not a replacement.

Anyways, it was probably a problem on their end with Port Windurst and placement of the two dudes, I'm assuming. IIRC this has happened before with previous updates, and changed later.

Since when has Windurst EVER been convenient? Furthest from every nation and the dunes, everything is so spread out... It's always been the worst place to be if you needed to actually get someplace.

I seriously doubt that any of the measures implented will relieve congestion in Port Jeuno, I'll keep on staying away except to store seals. I do agree that the Abyssea NPC should have been placed in Port Windurst, why Heaven's Tower who knows. What is the logic behind this? I don't see it.

I realize these were meant to be alternatives. I know I can still use Jeuno.
Fact is, I want to chill in Windurst. I don't see the point in doing this, either. It's almost as bad as when the OP Warp NPC in Windy was all the way near the zone to Saruta ><

They need to move Lastok's OP NPC to Markets to maintain balance.

Meh. When you're traveling to several different areas in one day and you already got your fresh rank 10 signet, it got annoying lol.
In any case you're right though... its hardly comparable to the Heaven's Tower situation lol

SE should just put an HP or mog house in heaven tower perhaps? Probably force people to be a decent rank on windy missions to get the privilege or something. This is assuming that they decide not to move it to a move convenient spot.

This is total garbage, I'm even breaking my 'no posting on these forums' stance to post this. Windurst's NPCs being so far from a mog house exit is an abomination. Sandy and Bastoks are RIGHT THERE, and windy is across 1 zone and into another, what the heck SE, fix this NOW.

They should move Bastok's NPC to Metalworks (top floor) and Sandy's NPC's to Chateau d'Oraguille. That way we'll all stay in Port Jeuno, and shouting there actually makes sense.

I think it would be cool if everyone hung out in Heaven's Tower, but the fact of the matter is that people need to change jobs and stuff... Maybe they need to make another warp taru? Or add a MH exit to HT?
I know a lot of people aren't fans of Windy being so spread out... But it's one of my favorite parts of the nation, it's awesome compared to Bastok's boring streets and Sandy's god awful music...

That much more awesome than Chateau d'Oraguille or the Metalworks.

Please Move Windurst Abyssea NPCS
With the recent update the Abyssea NPCs (Jerreti and Kierron) where added to home nations. This was done to reduce the congestion in Port Jeuno as well as offer convenience to the players. It's very unfortunate that of these NPC locations the Windurst versions where placed in an annoying far off location. I humbly request that these NPCS be moved too G-11 in Windurst walls. I believe this is a prime location near the auction house, mog mail and mog house. This appears to be the equivalent to the NPCs in port Jeuno.
The location I speak of has a single taru NPC named Augu-Maugu near the palm tree and bridge. This location is far more convenient then the out of the way Heavens Tower.
(Edit) H-10 just west of the bard Burute-Sorute would also be a good location.
I ask the developers, please move these NPCs, in their current location they do not inspire players to switch to Windurst as much as other nations. They don't offer convenience or really reduce congestion being so far out of the way. At the current location they require a long walk and a complete rezone to another area just to access them.

I agree with everything save this part. I think the best place for the Abyssea NPCs would be M-4 in Port Windurst opposite the Outpost NPC. This would place them on the outer edge of Windurst's 'central hub' (Southern Windurst Woods + Far Eastern Port Windurst).

Eeek I kinda like M-4 as well. Bastok I think is the nation that best benifited from these NPCs. Apparently they're right beside the mog house very close to the outpost warp NPC.

I think a nice place to put the abyssea warper would be near that thingie where the Whitegate-warper is. That would give us easy access to WG warp, auction house, and a short walk to the outpost warper.

This is really what blows my mind. They have 4 simple, logical, easy to reach places that they could stick the NPCs. Instead they stick it in the most difficult to reach area in Windurst. And then quality control (lolwut) signed off on it.

lol honestly i agreed with your grievance regarding the shitty NPC placement, but given your attitude towards Bastok.. i couldn't help but smile lol.

If you'd like, you can replace 'difficult' with 'time-intensive' or 'one of the most inconvenient locations possible in Windurst.' It doesn't change the meaning much, but I guess it adds more clarity.
It really is a pain to repeatedly go to Heaven's Tower. BLM AF quests were annoying in that regard.

Think of it this way:
Place the Bastok NPCs in 2nd floor of the Metalworks and the Sandy NPCS in the Château near the queen's flower garden. This would be fairly synonymous parallels to Heaven's tower location in distances. How happy would you be? :p I have no Earthly clue what they were thinking when they put these NPCs in Heaven's Tower. Brain dead is all I could think of.
