Too much to ask for?

I see certain ninja tools got graphical icon updates. Very important stuff, right there. Never mind that the failed crafting system in FFXI has caused any COR to relegate him/herself to using Bronze Bullets or any RNG to use Scorpion or Horn arrows because nothing better is available or been in stock for days/weeks/months/years.

But thank GOD those ninja tools got new graphics. I mean, that was too close.

Don't hate on my Scorpion Horn Arrow RNG xD

Seriously though, I need Arrows, good higher level arrows and there aren't any n sale... EVER!!

Make a ammo shop, for the love of all that is good.

Have you seen the prices of Oberon Bullets? I felt sorry for a COR friend of mine, Completely outrageous!

perhaps it is a conspiracy...trying to force RNG's to scavenge and level crafts to support themselves.... lol.

Seriously though... I actually want to put the time into finishing my subcrafts to at least 60 now with the new cap increase they are doing. But there is just so much stuff still left to do, I just don't have the time for the additional time sinks right now. Maybe if they gave crafting a skillup tweak or something too maybe. Spending a whole afternoon (farming, shopping, crafting/desynthing) just to get 1 point in a crafting skill (just did this Saturday trying to get to 28 GS for my test, still half a point away) just simply is not worth it these days...I simply have other things I'd rather concentrate on atm.

I have had no problems grinding out 2-4 levels in cooking in a few hours, its alot of .1s but if you have the invenory spaces it goes by fast. I got from 68-72 cooking in 4 hours spamming melon milk.

Who has the inventory space now and days? I have a mog sack, satchel, locker, and everything 80/80... My inventory is never below 70/80.. With none of the lower level stuff i have ever selling anymore i cant get rid of it :(

Hopefully with the new ability to send most non relic/empyrian/AF/quest EX items to mules it will be easier to have room for crafting, I have alot of EX low level gear that i rarely use that is going to my mule. By my best guess im getting +20 or so slots back. Honestly that little tweak frees up alot of space and maybe some more people will go back to working on their crafts again.

I bought a stack of Oberon bullets on the AH for my COR.
I've been selling them off one at a time when I don't have anything better to sell, and making a tidy profit. Corsairs only need one for infinite quick draws.

Even then, it took me like two weeks of periodically checking to find that one stack. I'd love to actually shoot on my cor instead of doing dagger/joytoy evisceration spam, but I just can't afford it. And even when the bullets do show up... it does less damage than melee does overall.

This is a bit of a derail, but I feel I need to respond....

lol.. cooking is not Goldsmith/Smithing/Woodworking/Alchemy--and are not related to making bullets and arrows. Cooking is also one of the easiest crafts to make--both from available mats, recipes, and reselling options (I have 91 cooking btw).

I can grab a stack of fish, run next door to the the AH and buy remaining mats from the Tenshodo (grow my own rice regularly) and make a few stacks of sushi and flip them right away on the AH, for profit (or at least break even): rinse/repeat. Gathering mats to make ingots to make/desynth rings/earrings/chains, or combine with mats from other crafts (bone/leather/cloth) to make armor pieces takes considerably more effort/time to do--and the skillups sometimes just refuse to come at a steady pace. And the items you are left with simply don't sell like they used to, so you desynth them to recycle some of the mats and recraft them again over and over until you are done. So, you basically wind up just throwing gil at your craft more often with these other crafts than you do with cooking (well, alchemy is an exception as you can make a lot of meds and items used for cooking, but WW, GS, and Smith are at times just big holes to toss your gil into these days). That is more or less why people don't level them and sell stuff on the AH anymore. At least in my circle of friends that is the case--more often the crafting is done for personal use or their friends. More often than not, such crafting is something that won't result in skillups as they are already past the caps for the synths they are doing.

Simply put....people need some incentive to level these crafts now in lesser demand. An enhanced skillup rate is just one tweak many have been asking for.

Back on topic, there are ammo npc's, but they are spread out all over the place and have a very limited selection (ie, who wants to run all the way to nashmua to get the elemental arrows, or ride the boat to buy 1.5 stacks of light cards). Consolidating them into one, or a few standard NPC's would be a help.

Oh, I just noticed... Firework Goblin NPCs?

Really? REALLY?

COR and RNG on every server are complaining that there is no ammo to buy other than low-level trash. You think that there might like... a problem here? Maybe a slightly-higher priority issue than, say, adding firework-selling Goblins?

What does it take to bring some attention to a major problem for two jobs?
