View Full Version : Add BLU to Magian Staffs
Why is BLU not on Magian staffs?
RDM is on them, so skill is not an excuse
BRD is on them, so specialization in primary traditional nukes is no excuse
Add BLU to magian staffs.

Add BLU to magian staffs.
I think adding Cure Potency and Magic Affinity+ to swords would be way more useful.

For magic stuff, put it on clubs and give us those... we have skill in it, just not the magian lines

meh, who really uses clubs outside of proc and warp cudgels, I rather SE give BLU something we can truly use.

maybe it's because there aren't enough clubs to use well (yet)

Yup SE needs to come up with more clubs that BLU can use, Staves.... meh would be nice for elemental things, but not really something that excites me other then the fact I would be able to proc stave red weakness with my BLU.

Would not mind Having the "Elemental: Affinity" staves for BLU, if nothing more than the cure pot+22% Staff and the Thunder one for Charged Whisker "Cleaving".

It's less about club selection and more about club WS selection. Anything that isn't Hexa isn't worth using, short of triggering !!.

I would approve of this, but if it's easier, at least give them the staves. Basically either one would at least be a step in the right direction.

like the other thread swords blu can't use, many people mentioned about the rapier style and it not applying to blu to stay within the games theme format of the perception of the job. If this does hold true, BLU isn't getting a staff, ok to have, but meh at best.
Counter to "design": MNK had access to most staffs, but not these ones.
Counter to needing skill: RDM and PLD (RDM on the staff, but no skill; PLD off the staff, but has high skill)
I don't think there is a model difference within the staff category as there is with swords.

I all but given up on trying to figure out SE's way of thinking tbh. It seems logic isn't one of the main ingredients in a lot of cases.
