Biggest pet peeve ever. YOU ONLY PUT DEV TAGS WHEN MAKING A TOPIC ABOUT SOMETHING THE DEVS HAVE ALREADY POSTED IN THE DEV TRACKER/UPDATE FORUMS.

This is not rocket science.

EXAMPLES:

Correct use of dev tags in a thread:
Thread title: Dynamis Updates!
Tags: Dev[1001]

Incorrect use of dev tags in a thread title:
Dev[1923] UPDATE PET JOBS!!!!!!11!!

Point the second, misuse of the report function.

You do NOT report somebody for disagreeing with you. [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XI FORUM Guidelines (http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=20&la=1).]

You do NOT report somebody for using bad language/harrassment when in your very next post you say "Screw off!". [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XI FORUM Guidelines (http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=20&la=1).]

You do NOT report somebody for "trolling" [Removed by Moderator according to the FINAL FANTASY XI FORUM Guidelines (http://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=20&la=1).] when they are disagreeing with you. This also falls in line with the first example.

You DO report somebody for being off-topic.

This seriously needs to be noted by a lot of people who just abuse the Dev Tags way too damn much.

While its possible for people to make mistakes and put the Dev tags in the title, its also a way to get attention.

[Dev1022]Dynamis Stuff!! is a way to tell me that the Dev tag number 1022 is about Dynamis. Although I agree with you and I have seen several [Dev1010] Pet Updates!!!111!oneonedot and think to myself that person is just asking for a ban.
