It was as expected, definently, but it leaves me wondering how it will impact people that haven't done the later limit breaks (newer players) and their ability to get crests in abyssea parties. At the moment, no one cares if they lot them but, that is likely subject to change. Thoughts anyone?

It will really depend on the drops obviously. If it drops crap, nobody will care. If it drops something amazeing, then expect people fighting over KCs. Will really be bad for the people who need them for WoE weapons btw.

Yeah it does depend on that. Though I doubt that they would add these things if there was nothing good to get from them. Of course, I'm sure there will be bcnms that just aren't worth it.

It is a mild concern really, people will still be able to get them on their own but, it will be more difficult.

I can't remember the last time i got a crest outside of an abyssea party. Anyway, as I said it is a mild concern, not a serious one. As for them dropping all over the place, true but "farming/collecting" them is best done in a party and if common older knowledge applies, people won't like other people lotting them just like people didn't (still don't) like people lotting kindred and beastman seals. I've gotten about 55 of them in the past month or so. Of course, i wasn't actually trying to get them, they just random fell from the spoils but still. It's not a potential problem for most people, so most people won't see the potential slight problem.

Aside from that, they appear to only be giving us kcnm30s and kcnm50s first. Numbers are a bit weird. They are also allowing the storage of high kindred crests before theres battlefields for them. It's nice but leaves me wondering why they're doing that already unless there is more to this than they are letting out right now.

The majority of players do nothing outside of Abyssea anyway so it won't be an issue, although there might be some minor fights over seal lotting rights. I will be happy to free up 2 more inventory spaces, get called a "sucker" by Shami and I look forward to seeing what the content of these new "KCNM's" will be.

This was done by design, they could of added the storage ability right at the start. This means most won't have a huge stockpile but a few will and be able to come away like bandits after they add the BCNM's.

AT LEAST 80% of players should have known this from the start. Has anyone really never had a conversation about this in-game before? Can you really be ignorant of this for the last 10 months?

I've never made a point of trying to get them, but I kept them all, I have at least 4 stacks of k.crests, and 2 of hk.crests.
I'll happily be exploring the new battlefields and raking in the loots.

It's not that we're ignorant... my problem was space. They were taking up already-overfull inventory/storage spots and something had to go, so it ended up being crests that were useless at the time. I knew that they'd be useful at some point in the future, and that I would regret tossing them (which I do!) but I'm not really looking for sympathy. I just wish we had more space so I didn't have to toss them in order to maintain all my jobs. ~_~;

I just wanted to add my 2 cents ... awile ago SE did relase a small statement they would be introducing these higher new battlfiends using high kindred crests and kindred crests. I for one payed attention to that statement and hoarded them <3 I would liek to be able to store them at the same place I trade me other seals in port jueno to get my invotry back now though :)

They drop from all 70+ mobs outside of abyssea too. If you haven't seen them drop in vanadiel it's because you haven't been fighting 70+ mobs.

Either way, it makes no difference. Either everyone lots for every seal, and it will be fair for everyone, or no one lots for any seal and it autodrops and is still fair for everyone.

i get lots of k crests outside of abyssea :) i have over 600 stored up ... SE mentioned in one of their Q & A a few months back these KSNM's were coming in future been waiting for this day :) /cheer

there are certain mobs at a certain level that only drop k crests and high k crests outside abyssea no k seals or beastmen seals above a certain mob lvl :) so perfect for higher lvl people outside abyssea and with new valor choices outside i hope they continue to not add seals to the higher lvl mobs

Kinda thought it was funny a little while ago when the HNM adjustments were announced people were complaining all they ever get is Kindred Crests/HKC Cause of Abyssea, Now they release KC-BCNMs and people complain that KC are too rare they don't get them enough LoL >____>

Looking forward to this, I used to Drop KC/HKC, but SE said they were going to add battlefields for them, so i began collecting them, I have ~120HCK and about 98KC.

Well, this gives them more usefulness outside of the Cap Quests. I'm more concerned on what mobs they have in store for the brave foo-er, souls that set forth. If it's like ENMs where the highest level determines mob strength, then expect a lot of lowbies filling those...doubtful, yes, but possible. My guess is, they may also implement keys to the "Tenshodo Chest" for augmentable goodies too...would be a good idea to mix them in too...

I had a reason to toss some of mine, I have a inventory Crisis! Miera needs more space I have 60 slots in all inventory but it doesn't do me any good. I stored all my Relic and Artifact I don't use which took a HUGE chunk of clutter out of my storage but ITS ALL FULL WITH RARE/EX STUFF I CAN'T STORE D:

yep, solo for a few hours doing emp weapons 75-80, they'll get plenty that way, and hopefully the chance to level NPC as well. That's provided they can't find a decent pt that will pass for the 5 or whatever they need for break. I'd pass for 'em.
