Since so many Trials require a specific weather day or type and so many players have limited playtime, how about creating a 9th day/weather: Ebon.

Just as with the abyssea chests where Ebon light affects all other lights, Ebon day/weather would incorporate the effects of all other elemental days/weather.

So trials that require kills on fire day or in light weather and so forth could all be done on Ebon day/weather.

Also, since there are currently 8 elemental days, with each day roughly taking up 1 hour RL, each one appears roughly every 8hrs ((57 minutes, 36 seconds Earth Time)) it takes a several days for them to move down the clock, this additional elemental day would thus create a faster rotation of the elements on the RL clock.

eh..overkill on the easy mode mentality.

Only two stages of any trial require specifically weather kills, and those are reduced further by giving you 5 kill credits for weather. At worst, it is 10 kills in weather, at best 9 (if you match day and weather, it's 6 credits per kill) to get those 50 kills each, and you can choose from 8 weathers on first one, 4 on the second one.

Vanadiel day is roughly 58 minutes, 3 cycles per RL day, and it's position notches back slighly each day (a little over 24 1/2 game days per rl day). Everyone stands a decent chance of catching 1 particular game day per RL day for the remaining trials with day/weather requirement. You can easily get upwards of 60 kills per day on most trials in an abyssea Duo, more in a group--in some cases almost that much SOLO. If you are in an area that gets weather bonus, you can sometimes beat that as well. Only the last group of trials (when you have a pretty strong weapon) would require more than 3 game day cycles per trial under optimum (ie group) conditions.

This is hardly "broken" to the point of requiring additional mechanics to facilitate trial completion.

Game revolves around the 8 elements, I guess they could do whatever they want but it would not make any sense logic wise.

It's pretty common knowledge that ebon light only affects gold/silver, not all lights.

might be overly easy how bout it only effects certan zones in abby like ebon = <fussion / compression > in altep i can see some application cover the present elementals in aby

The only way I see such a thing occuring is through some type of "chaos" weather where all weather types are up at the same time. Of course, this would require a bit of a rewrite to the weather system to allow more than double weather and for more than one type of weather to be up at a time. Which, tbh, does not seem likely, or will receive a response from the dev team along the lines of: "we don't have the resources or time for that" (translation: "we're lazy"). Voidwatch seems like a good way to add such a weather type though, caused by entities tearing through the dimensional walls and all.

Moblin Maze Mongers lets you build a dungeon with a certain weather effect, i dont even need to wait for a weather effect!
