Ask why they have not added paid expansions / mini expansions.

I do not understand why VR and Rhapsodies were free, when they could have easily been paid (even if mini expansion for $15-$20). Not only are they more likely to do more if they fund themselves, but they are seen as more valuable in peoples minds if they pay for them too.

For instance, I didn't do VR missions for years cause I didn't like the first couple of missions (the later missions are really good), but if I had paid for them I would have done them right away.

The value of something is increased in your mind if you buy it.

We already know, more or less, because we've hit technical limits on areas, their ability to make major changes to the codebase for new features is limited, etc. etc.

That aside, Rhapsodies especially added new content areas- perhaps not as many as a major expansion did, but more than the scenario DLCs, which take place entirely in existing areas. So your guess is as good as mine why they didn't charge at least a modest fee for it.

but they could have sold both VR and Rhapsodies for $20.

Agreed. The old "Expeditionary Force Operation" game modes and maps are definitely something that could be wiped away to expand new areas. Mind you that would only give room for like 11 or 12 maps. I can't remember how many maps there were. Ill double check later.

I can only imagine the bureaucracy involved in selling them looked like it would cost more than the sales would make... to the charts-(wo)men.
