Very bored. Limbus is too boring.

I only login to do Sortie 3-4 times/week. I'm mastery rank 7 and slowly making my way to mastery rank 8.

I do Limbus maybe 1-2x/week and that is because my friends force me. I find Apollyon to be tolerable but Temenos very dizzying/difficult to navigate.

Every day, I am very bored and cannot bring myself do Limbus.

I was hoping the recent introduction of Limbus weapons would help to re-ignite my interest.

This is a very strange feeling to be so bored in FF11. :(

Since I gather that you are a very experienced player, I strongly assume you have enjoyed all the story content, explored the various jobs, and all set on gear. Perhaps it is simply time to take a little break from the game?
When I'm bored with an MMO, that's what I do at least. I go and play a little RuneScape, Guild Wars 2, or Elite Dangerous. Before I know it, FF11 calls to me again :)

I am also lacking interest in doing much in-game anymore.
I'm just going through RoEs and occasionally some quests typically aside from Sortie.
Just not much in the game that's worth grinding. Sure I could continue Min/Maxing jobs, but I've already got over half of them basically done outside of actually fixing equipsets and macros. Is it really worth gearing the rest when I'm probably just going to be asked to go on one of my most commonly played jobs anyway?
I might do a bit of monstrosity again next time EXP campaigns roll back around as a break from the quest grinding.

Other games, books, shows are certainly taking more and more of what used to be spent on FFXI.
The gear is a downgrade at rank 0, side grade at rank 30. why would I spend months to a year in Limbus for gear to be basically only as good as the gear I already have? It only increases the inventory burden. pointless content due to lacking rewards in every regard. (except the ring, earring, and a few +4s with ridiculously minor improvements)

Arenanet began catering to GW1. They realized sunsetting an MMO that is not dead was a mistake.

Majority of players won't visit this website though. There is a lot of chatter on Reddit, Discord and probably FFXIAH forums.

Please for the love of god make Murky Matter and Alabaster Matter 100% from chest, the amount we need compared to them being rare is ridiculous.

Many players look at the monumental grind and opt out, even the earrings are ridiculous (and use the same mats you need for other things)
