There is absolutely no reason to have to make these missions as painful as they were 10 years ago.
This needs to be fixed. Why is the drop rate for Orichalcum Survey STILL so horrific that you have to attempt the mission MULTIPLE times?
Come on, fix it.

I’ve done all the Assault missions solo several times now and I think they are all pretty reasonable to do. A few exceptions; in my opinion the Perqiia assault “Building Bridges” is a bit crazy and relies on mad skills and some luck, and I just can’t stand it.

I've never had a problem with that mission.
Also, they didn't "make" anything any harder, they just haven't made it easier. Since not all of these missions are heavily combat focused, being overleveled does not make them easier. assault tags come back fast now so it really isn't a big deal.
