Progess bar not filling on one character while fighting and not getting credit for defeat monsters. Tried logging out and closing out FFXI completely to see if it would resolve but did not.

Do you remember the monster level setting of each party member? If a player with a much higher setting defeats a monster aggroed by a player with a lower setting, you won't get credit iirc.

yo u won't get progress credit at all if a monster dies while unclaimed. You'll still get EXP/CP/EP for it but you won't fill the bar.
