All of a sudden when I have an avatar out it drains HP.

Issue started today around 11:30PM PST.
When I summon any avatar my hip points start draining whilst the avatar is active.
About 5-6 per tick.
I have never seen this occur since I stated playing at PS2 launch.
Has always been magic points that drain for the Avatar Perpetuation Cost.

I have done no gear swap, not cursed, tried different zones, loged out then back again.

It's because you don't know what a sacrifice torque does. Take it off it's useless.

Lots of items have hidden effects. Often they're implied by the name. in this case, you're sacrificing HP for the effect of the item that's why it's called sacrifice torque. but it's an old item, if it ever had use it doesn't anymore.

You could keep it around for a small bit of utility- if you are slept, it should wake you as any damage, even DoT damage, will remove sleep.
