At the time of this post I am still logged into another character on the same POL account and Content ID, which should have triggered a forced logout since you're not supposed to be able to even log into the same POL account on 2 computers at the same time.

This is a customer support issue, not a bug report issue. You should contact the support center.

same POL account and Content ID, There is one Content ID per character, you are not logged on to the same Content ID.

And did you actually log out using the logout or shutdown commands? or did you terminate the client via task manager or other means?

Customer support sent me here.

Handle is what I meant by content ID, and as I recall, I logged out using the shutdown command from the menus instead of typing /shutdown

Case can now be closed -- I was able to resolve it by creating a new PlayOnline handle and moving the affected Content ID to it. Looks like removing a Content ID from its handle functions as a force logout.

Yeah, they do that. It can depend on how you prhase things, but if the way you talk sounds even vaguely like "i want to report a bug" they send you here. If you make it more clear it's an account issue they'll be less likely to brush you off like that.
