Interviewer: You briefly mentioned earlier about enhancing Trusts (フェイス). Could you elaborate on that?

Fujito: This is still in the idea phase, so it’s not a finalized specification, but we’re not just thinking about simply boosting the Trusts’ parameters. For example, we’re considering something like equippable items tailored to specific Trust types, such as tank types or mage types. It’s somewhat similar to the attachments for Automatons. For tank-type Trusts, you might be able to equip something that makes them more resistant to physical attacks or magical attacks, allowing for a degree of customization in their role. However, since this is still just a concept, if it starts to feel too complex, we’ll reconsider. Actual implementation would likely begin next year.

What would you want from this system, if they made trusts with a smilar system to Puppetmaster and attachments?

Personally I would want:

Tanks:
HP or MP attachments
Dmg or Emnity
Physical def or Magic def
Weapon skills off or on
AoE spells on or off (ie flashga)

Healers:
Hp or MP
Close range or Long range
Weapon Skills off or on
Refresh or -Emnity
Barspell selection (if you pick a fire barspell attach it tries to keep that up)

Damage:
HP or Def
weapon skills on or off
magic boost, rng boost or melee boost

Buff trusts:
Ranged buffs, Black Magic Buffs or Melee buffs (specifying what kind of job you're on)
HP or MP
weapon skills on or off

AoE on/off for damage dealers as well. Damage taken- or at least physical/magic damage taken- options, trusts have all the durability of a used tissue right now.

Otherwise... yeah. All of that, please. I don't care if trusts get stronger, but it would be incredible if they could be smarter.

aAlthough there's certainly a case to be made for customizing parameters, my main issue is simply they haven't kept pace with expanded progression systems i.e. job points and master levels. This has long disadvantaged some jobs that aren't as efficient at damage, where jobs that are get everything they need from the healer/support trusts.
