I like what you guys are doing with pup rng and i really like drk's update.
My job is thf and the only problem i think thf has before and after abssya is landing SA.
I think if you guys redid hide in the ways i list below would fix that
1. Make hide work on NM's not taking you off the aggro list but making you drop all enmity like super jump kind of for NM's.
2. lowering recast two 1 min so it can be aligned with sneak attack.
I think it would help thf deal better dmg by helping land are key JA and also help manage hate by allowing us to pull or take hate from a mage of low def DD and get rid of it to help tanks like nin hold hate better outside abyssea.

While I agree something should be done about SA/TA, lowering Hide recast to 1min would mean it would always be used with SA. Then SA positioning requirement may as well be removed for THF as a main job.

3 minute recast, meritable down to 2. That might be all right.

As a career thief I just can't really relate to this issue. Now, I understand how you really don't want to be standing behind some mobs, or how environment can occasionally prevent you from getting behind them, but usually, as long as I'm not tanking, positioning for a SA has rarely been an issue.

I do however like the idea of allowing a greater number of mobs to be affected by hide. As it stands hide's usefulness in dropping enmity is limited to a small fraction of mob types.

In a burn pt or a NMzerg like most in todays game it can be very hard to land SA and i too am a career THF
