would be cool if you could make the chest in the mog garden accessible to all chars on the same account and you could share up to 80 items and gil with them as well.

If this happened, people with lots of gil would be able to store less of it since it's currently character specific. Not a problem a lot of people have but I'd rather they just allow you to dbox more gil between characters on the same account instead.
