I am getting POL-0033 server rejected connection. I have talked to support on the phone two times, they said to make a forum post. Game works on my extra PC but I don't use that to game. I can't login on my main computer for some reason. Please help

Your issue doesnt appear to be account related, phone support is only for account issues, which is why when you correctly categorize your problem on the support site, phone support is only listed as an option when you report an account issue. Correctly categorize your issue and use email or chat support for this issue. Anytime an issue is outside of their wheelhouse they will just tell you to post here.

"server rejected connection" should depend on the internet connection not your PC, unless perhaps you're using an overly restrictive firewall or security software setup. is your "extra PC" conneccted to the same internet connection? It is almost certainly a connection issue on your end, likely specifically on the PC that you can't connect on.

Hi,
Well the phone like had a section for technical support so I pressed 2 for that. My spare PC is indeed on the same network and I can login and update POL just fine for some reason my main machine gets the POL-0033 issue. I have opened ports, turned off my firewall and windows defender. I tried using a VPN, it will verify my credentials on POL but after I get to "retrieving message" I get the error.

Is it a prebuilt machine or a machine you built yourself? If it was prebuilt, I've seen some virus scanners that include other features that can cause this kindof block issue. I would try turning off everything, if able to login then go 1 by one until you figure out which is causing it. I suspect there is something else other than windows firewall and windows defender.

Well there's a reason the support website only gives you the phone number when you select account related issues. They want you to use the other support methods first, because those methods are normally just as effective and phone calls take up way more of a support person's time. You shouldn't even be calling them without going through the support site first, technically.

And like I said, unless they have an immediate, instant answer available for you, they don't really even troubleshoot and just send you here.

Not sure why you are giving me a hard time for calling support when I needed some support lol. This is a machine I built, I was able to play on Tuesday morning perfectly fine, I set it up during work through parsec. When I got home all of the sudden I am getting POL-0033 on the same PC I was using to play with it not even 5-6 hours ago. It still works on my spare PC that I use so it is not a networking issue. Just very strange and I don't see anyone else with this issue when I google it.

Not sure why you are giving me a hard time for calling support when I needed some support lol.Well it comes from experience not going to lie. There's a reason why the phone number is hidden, and its not because it gets you better support lol. It's because they want to reserve it for the highest priority issues (typically account issues / problems giving them money), because it is more time consuming for the support person. Basically via the other methods you can multitask and help multiple people at the same time but you can only be on the phone with one person at a time.

It's rather beside the point though, really I was trying to get to the core point that sending you here is the cop-out response when the rep doesn't have an immediate answer to your question, it definitely is not because you'll get the answer here. Just saying. :P

Honestly, I wish I could help you but I've never heard of this error (and I know about quite a few). I'm suggesting to you to use the email or chat support because that might actually get you better (or at least different) results.

So I have no idea what the issue was but I "fixed" it by just formatting my hard drive and upgrading to Win11 since 10 is going EOL in Oct anyways. Very strange issue but if anyone else googles this and finds this thread that's what I had to do.

Very likely just some setting or configuration or windows update gone awry if resetting your pc fixed it.
