While I'm at this whole posting of feedback stuff.. lets cover the nonstop /yells for rmt and other "services" that are clearly spam but never register as such.
Can we get SE to update that spam filter to include them? my block list is maxed out and I can't add anymore bots to the list.
Maybe increase the size of the /blist add name-here function?
Maybe make it so we can flag the /yells for spam like we see in FF14?
Clearly you have the means to fix the problem and we're no longer limited by ps2 limitations anymore.. if ultra lazy microsoft can "remove the 32GB partition size limit for FAT32 in Windows 11" you have no excuses anymore.
23 years.. of waiting.. do you need a bigger budget? donations? tell the community what ransom we have to pay so we can get what we all want please.

The bots rotate names daily. Even if your blacklist was infinite it would never function properly.
They will NOT cut off their revenue by banning the bots, so you're just going to have to live with it.

Never! They already do something about this for FF14 with their general chats so your argument is invalid. I'm only asking they make the same effort here too.

Personally, I tend to just filter all of '/yell'... not a very nice workaround, but it works!

Never! They already do something about this for FF14 with their general chats so your argument is invalid. I'm only asking they make the same effort here too.Bots are a problem in XIV too, its just not as obvious.
This also isn't a Website Feedback/Suggestion.

I agree.
/blist size should be increased beyond 200 names
bot filter list should also be increased.
Command history should extend beyond 8 commands!

honestly... not sure about US/EU DCs, but at here on JP DCs I played, haven't seen bot shouts for a very long time, guess SE does a really strict bot protocols.
Also, guess might be nice to have that quite recently added term filter feats @ FF14. Alas, since it is still quite brand new feats over FF14, not sure if FF11 would ever gets one, would take long time if even does.

You don't see a lot of chat from them, but you can definitely find the bots if you know where to look.
