I dislike playing with players who dislike helping others. Usually, foreign languages who do not understand English. They have the resources to at least invite us along while they do whatever it is that they're doing. But they choose to ignore us when it's just downright stingy. Sharing the wealth is their issue. They expect someone to do everything for them and give nothing in return. The majority of this is usually from languages that are not English. I want there to be an all-English server, so we do not have to deal with Japanese players any longer. Where they do not mix and match us with half Japanese. It's useless and pitiful. It takes away from all users of the same language when you place them together and separate the other half to be placed with another half of a different language. Plus, we can't understand them or help them out either. If they want to play in a different language and server so, be it. Please just separate us. It's becoming far too annoying. Less helpful to a majority of the same languages. This also needs to be set up like an algorithm to ensure they do not have access to an English server. We are done with them.

Ha... "foreigners get out of my game" is a pretty hot take for an MMO which constantly seems to be on the brink of losing English support entirely. Why not just have Japan-exclusive servers instead, and let everybody else flail around in a world where literally nothing that isn't endgame progression ever gets done, so Domain Invasion's streak resets every time the big dragon spawns, there's fighting in the streets of every nation in the past, and the astral candescence is gone forever the first time the server loses at Besieged?

Joking aside, a language barrier does not automatically mean one or the other is not helpful and the frustration goes both ways.

That said, how late/early are you playing running into Japanese players that it's causing you an issue?

While I see less of it compared to years ago, I always liked that I could run into others from different countries. Even if I couldn't understand them and had to use emotes and auto-translate to get things across.

The majority won't help because they can't solve the language barrier making them less tolerant to English players. So, they do not fool with them.

I've made friends with Japanese players thanks to this game, and so have other people. Yeah, some people will prefer to stay apart but how hard is it to just ignore them? it's not. Bringing people together was one of the original motivations behind the game.

Nope that's not what this all means Tah, it's basic and simple. There needs to be only Americans we can't keep dealing with it. It's your opinion. Preferably we need all or twice as many English players on each server to deal with the low same majority language pop. It will not work well if we can't have that many more players with the same characteristics who want to do the same thing who are also up at different hours. There's a chance for anything to happen. I think different languages would or will keep doing their own thing. It's not beneficial to us. Rather just or sometimes plane annoying.

Nope that's not what this all means Tah, it's basic and simple. There needs to be only Americans we can't keep dealing with it.Yeah, it's an opinion, and so is what you have to say. But the developers wanting to bring people around the world together is a fact, not an opinion. Feel free to peruse the We Are Vana'diel site if you believe otherwise.

Even though FFXIV does have regional servers, Japanese, English, German and French are all supported no matter where you are, and players are free to create characters in any region. This is fine and to believe otherwise, frankly, comes off as racist. If you don't like Japanese players, ignore them or blacklist them, but don't assume everyone feels exactly the same as you do about this.

Especially on smaller servers, there's a lot more cooperation between Japanese and other players out of need. And enforcing any sort of separation would kill those communities.
