I think this is a fairly reasonable request.. in Tav-Safehold there is a npc named
Migrain an there's another npc Misseulieu.
Considering all the things being changed for dynamis.. an the introduction of AF3
wouldn't it be reasonable to lower the npc prices for these 2 guys??
4 Million, 25 Million, 7 Million, 8 Million x2 -- c'mon -.- these items are outrageously
over priced an meant for a time when rmt was ruling the known ingame world.
An before some troll tries to accuse me of wanting the subligar on them I'll
happily point out that you didn't know you could get rare/ex versions of them
from the mobs down in Pho-Aquaducts that drop bronze keys.
So how about that price drop hmm SE??

The subligar is 25 mil cause you can dysyth it to get a craft item for the brd JSE body.

Which sells for 4mil

Yah.. the things are ridiculously over-priced
At least lower it to a reasonably overpriced amount.. maybe a million or 2?

Eh, Manteel's settling around the 1.7M range for Valefor.
But they made the point I saw: desynthing said subligars gets you cashmere items, which are usually rare and hard to get (Vrtra, The Wyrmking Descends, etc), and are worth a good deal of money.

Vrtra isn't that hard to kill anymore

Under 2M on most servers by now.
I still have an Auriga Xiphos in storage. I absolutely loved that sword. The name is just beautiful.

Eh, meant it as more general principle, but you're right.

Idk how much longer cashmere threads or any other rare item will remain rare with the way things have been going lately.
Star sapphires for example use to be super rare and are now dirt cheap... there are tons of other crafting items like that...
who's to say cashmere threads wont drop from every other voidwalker NM in their new system ;p

The barone stuff could use a price drop, especially when you can find it in the AH for like 10k

I don't think any of those Items (barone) were meant to be purchase from the NPC. Similar to how like, Level ~30 Chainmail armor is 40k or something stupid at the NPCs.
Adjusting the prices of these seems rather like...Adjusting the drop rate of Beehive chips. a pointless task.
Though the Subligars could stand to see a price drop, I don't think it'll happen. SE introduced those way back when the huge Inflation to remove gil from Circulation, But hey, Maybe they'll update it now :X, But if they never did it wouldn't surprise me at all.

It would make these items more accessible though.. and it's not like asking for something super difficult like.. "FIX CAMPAIGN PLZ!!!111oneone"
They just gotta change a few lines of code and adjust the number that sets the price.
Regardless of its value to you.. some would get use out of it.. and its not a terribly large change.

I'm sure whatever anyone uses the desynths for won't compare to AF3. Lower the price? Can I have it? SE

Sha'ir Manteel (http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Sha%27ir_Manteel) (click because it won't show a color difference on links. :( ) says hi2u.
It's a useful piece because it's used to cap song spellcasting time; pop it on at the start of a song, switch to another piece (AF3+2 is good here) and boom, faster song, better bonuses to it, win-win.
It's still a useful piece for BRDs, to my knowledge.
