I've been up and down the east side of the lake for hours now. The Shining Pebbles are not there. Idk if its a bug or something wrong with my install but I can't progress any further to unlock dancer. I've camped out at I5 in the Fungar Forest for days now tabbing all around and nothing is there. Can anyone help me?

You're looking in Jugner Forest [S], right? The shadowreign era version of the zone, that you have to pass through a cavernous maw to reach?

Jugner Forest is the original area.
Jugner Forest [S] is the Shadowreign Era area. These are Wings of the Goddess areas, and Dancer is a Wings of the Goddess job. Many alternate versions of existing areas are in the WOTG expansion, and most of the quests associated with it take place in these areas.

The quest kind of hints at this - you would have been told that the pebbles are impossible to find now, if I remember correctly. However, Wings of the Goddess is basically a time travel plot, its unique zones are in the past - which is when those pebbles would have been easy enough to find.

You're going to have a bit of a journey to get to the version of Jugner Forest you need to visit. You will first need to find and examine a Cavernous Maw in Rolanberry Fields or Batallia Downs (technically Sauromugue Champaign works too but that one is a pain to get to.) You will find yourself in the Shadowreign version of one of those three zones (not necessarily the one you started from.) You'll then want to find the Cavernous Maw in that zone (again, if it's the one you visited) and examine it; any Cavernous Maw you examine in a Shadowreign zone will be effectively "activated", allowing you to return to that zone from the corresponding Cavernous Maw in the normal version of the zone. Survival guides and home points also work, but those will also need to be found before they can be used.

When you reach the Shadowreign version of Jugner Forest, you're going to find it a little trickier to get around in, you won't be able to reach the lake using the same route from Jeuno. You'll need to find a path that doesn't exist in the present day; but that's its own adventure. If you want to read ahead on that, I recommend FFXIclopedia (https://ffxiclopedia.fandom.com/) or BG-Wiki (https://www.bg-wiki.com/).
