Treasure Caskets just cannot be unlockable with any form of Treasure key. There should be a treasure key that unlocks caskets that wield torque's. Sortie should also spawn random treasure caskets randomly with each enemy defeated. Caskets that can have a certain set of equipment or rewards. Random caskets in sortie should also give Gallimaufry. Rare Caskets should put random rewards into the treasure pool. They should also have anything from completed empyrean weapons to mythic or dynamis weapons.

Each fields of valor quest completed should give a chance at a Temporary item: Treasure Casket Key.

Also, regular treasure caskets need the ability to "add to lottable spoils"

Thief can use their various lockpicks to get extra hints.
you can effectively guarantee you will always unlock the chest if you pay attention and do a bit of math.

The number of times I've gotten four hints that basically all pertain to the first digit ("The number is between 22 and 57." "The first digit is either 2, 3, or 4." "The first digit is even." "One of the two digits is 4." as an example) is mildly ridiculous.

The "number in range" and "first digit is X, Y, or Z" hints should be blocked from both showing up on the same chest. (That is, once you've gotten one, the other should not show up on that chest. Having them both available on different chests is fine, though.)
