I know I'm shouting into the wind here, cause it's a public company fixated with making as much money as possible:

However if you're going to move most of the developers to other games and reduce what we are getting for our sub fee, the sub fee should be reduced a little. It should not cost the same amount of money to play XI as WoW or FF14, when those games have teams of people making content for them.

It's well known that most players don't pay a single sub, they either have multiple accounts, mog wardrobes, alts etc so the cost of playing XI is very high and when you cut support it's really outrageous to not lower the costs.

This is a respect issue, for people who have played this game for 10-20+ years.

As much as I value FFXI, I kinda agree here.

I’m a FFXIV legacy account holder, and that game isn’t even worth 9.99 because of how much they copy paste content, and have reduced their production, and increased their Mog Station items sale production.

They really keep trying to milk their loyal players, further damaging their reputation.

It feels like they have no respect for long time Final Fantasy fans, by making anything but traditional Final Fantasy games, but they expect us to support them, while they release “new” games.

Like, they literally cut back production on FFXI, and FFXIV, and releasing games like Forspoken, and Foamstars, turned FF16 into a full blown action game, then expect all their profits to keep coming from Pixel Remaster, FFXI, and FFXIV.

It’s honestly quite disrespectful.

alot of ppl including mine already point this particular topic for many times/years. atm just hoping the upcoming FF14's FF11 alliance raid collab would help incentives the changes in subs fees as well.

Aside that, these return home campaigns already felt quite generous on my behalf. Been near extensively taking advantage of these & even still able to clear up to the latest TVR story. ;)

XI=Do as little as possible for the player-base, but gather as much money as possible from said player-base.

Kinda foul actually lol........But it is up to the playerbase to force change. They announced XI would halt major updates years ago, and meant it. It is a drag as a BST, because updates are tied to jug pets. There are still a ton of species they have yet to, and probably won't implement but I digress........

I agree, there seems to be little respect for the XI player, and/or their time. XI players are sidechicks, they know we will be here no matter what they do to us lol.

Vote with your wallet if you feel you don't get value for your sub fee.

Personally I'm ok with it.
