Giving someone a +2 earring with random job and random augments, each month is not game-breaking ...and would at least keep a steady supply of players engaged...even if it's not with daily content.

100% agree. As this heavily follows the Vagary theme, I would like to think they will, but I hope it doesn't take as long as the Vagary repeatable RoEs took to come to life.

I would rather have +1/2 earrings instead of galli. There is a path to getting max galli per run and it's grouping up and ignoring everything but bosses. If they made objectives that intentionally targeted earrings and it involved all the content that a standard 9 boss run intentionally skips then I'd find that Sortie would be a more fully utilized event and would be more interesting for a lot longer.

Objectives that reset weekly:
Kill 200 mobs. Rewards +1 Case.
Kill 100 basement mobs. +1 Case.
Doing all objectives in A + E in a run. +1 Case. Same for B + F, C + G, D + H. +1 Cases.
Do all weekly objectives. +2 Case.

They can reset the boss kill rewards on monthly too, but I'd rather have something different to do that would utilize different jobs than just run the same 6 jobs all the time doing the same thing until you burn out on Primes.

That's for those who already own Prime Weapons stage 3 or above but there are plenty of those who needs 100,000s of galli. I'm all for having both case+1/+2 drops for completing them & ROE like Kill 10 mobs daily for 5000gal, Get Auric Coffer on main floor for 5000gal. Give both.

As for getting max galli per run, it all depends on what weapon you already have maxed out & if you're Master Level 50. If you have none these (like I have ambuscade weapon at master level 25), then basically Sortie becomes pointless. Lots of people are at different positions in the game so you shouldn't exclude them. It's so we can speed up the endgame as us veterans no longer have any time for this game (I'm also UK so timezone issues to do anything decent). Will SE give us some kind of reward for getting so far in the game, like getting all missions done & master level 25 at least? By the looks of it, nope. The big prizes are only for those elite players.

Grouping up depends on what your server is like, who is around & how capable the leader is in doing a decent Sortie run to get any decent amount of galli in quick time. As I mentioned, I'm UK so 6 to 8 hours behind USA so getting into groups can be difficult. I also expect you're way high up with master lvl 50 & prime weapon stage 5 already by being in groups often. Have you tried soloing it? due to no-one being around & you simply don't have time to wait for the others to form a party at 1am.

In terms of drops situation, I'm still waiting on SE to allow us to trade in our eikondrites, starstones, etc in for galli as I'm getting stacks of them for no reason. It's like I can get my empy armour to +2 for all jobs twice over. The +1/+2 earring drops is so random it's like AMAN trove. You just have to get lucky as there's no guarantee you'll get an +2 earring for the job you want.

I am also waiting for something additional to be done with the stones, but let's be honest here... It's probably not going to happen, and if it does the conversion rate will most likely be high considering the how plentiful the stone "drites" drop. One can dream!

Have you considered switching servers? Not certain how your server is, but if their isn't enough activity to form groups I would recommend considering it. Bismarck has a decent population, not enough to feel overcrowded but can still make a shout group if necessary.

Rather then relying on someone else to lead a group, could take the dive into leading your own also. Not for everyone, but some people really enjoy that kind of thing. Kinda reminds me of the old school leveling parties. After "Seeking party" for untold hours on a DD job, I found its more consistent to start my own party rather then waiting for an invite for hours on end, that I may not even get!

Well, if I switch servers, I'll lose all the people in the linkshell I have on Sylph. I usually solo Sortie but only getting 5-6k per run so selling all the stones for gallimaufry would be a great help. If only I can get to Prime Weapon Stage 3, that would be something at least.

In general, us lot which are now pretty high up are now in our 30s/40s & we no longer have any time for this game. I pop on to do daily ROE quests at & that's bout it so anything to speed it up a bit would be useful. Those who want constantly grind stuff like Sortie, they can do still.

I have 1 ML 50. I have a Stage 4 and other stages of weapons. I solo'd, duo'd, or trio'd it for the first 6 months it was out and got my first stage 3 before the end of the year. I took a 2 month break. I came back to find some of my friends had returned and I built a SCH from scratch so we could try to find 6 people consistently. Since then I have built an entirely different prime weapon to stage 4 and I would not voluntarily go back to soloing because that means I would never get a stage 5 done, if that's even my goal.

When I solo'd I would do A+E boss and the easy objectives like minibosses for close to 20k galli in like 30-40 minutes. I would then leave because I knew I was going waste the next 20+ minutes getting nothing done compared to what I had already done and I would rather just do something else with my time. Even just doing C boss which was easy, just wasn't lucrative since it didn't turn into doing G boss.

I think everyone would love to turn in the various stones for some kind of credit or griefing system. But the reality is we just got a guaranteed +2 that only guarantees that it will be +2. I assume that's because someone finally went, wow look at all these people who have stage 4s and 5s and don't have a single +2 earring after a year! How unlucky!

Improving quality of life doesn't seem to be a pressing priority for Sortie and I don't see them ever making the mesodrites obtainable elsewhere, so grouping is either happening or you won't get to a stage 5, regardless of galli changes.
