Game will not allow me to progress in rapsodies of vanadiel. Stuck on begin flames of prayer from any area joining a MOG house in one of the starting nations. I have zone in and out of every home city. Went to selbina and mhaaura to talk to mayors. Emasary from the seas shows as current rhapsodies of vanadiel mission.

For you to have that mission flagged in your mission log, you should have received a cutscene in either Mhaura or Selbina. At this point, you need to talk to that town's mayor's secretary, basically - Naillina in Selbina, or Numi Adaligo in Mhaura. Choose the dialogue option which mentions them looking for an adventurer. This should allow you to progress to the next mission.
