How about a guild point item that allows you to transport to the city of your Guild? And Please not just once a day. I have items that get me there once a day. Repeated returns after finding materials at various places are the ones that give me pure pain.
When you have more than one character crafting it is xmules transports. A simple guild item would make it so much more convenient.
Please consider?

It would be such an easy thing to take care of dont you think? As a side benefit it might get more people interested in crafting if for no other reason than to get the transport item. Of course it would only get them to one city since it would be based on the guild you have chosen although if it were a lower guild item you could do multiple guilds.
That would be another question. Would it be a high or low level item? I can see arguments for both. One it could be a reward for a high level crafter. Two if it were for a low level crafter, say 28, it would help them in leveling up that craft.
The problem, in SE's eyes is that if it is low level then it may just be used as a transport for anyone willing to put in a minor amount of time in one of each cities crafting guilds.

The only downside I see is how worth it to some crafters it would be. For me, my chosen craft is in my home city so I likely wouldn't use GP. Yours, on the other hand, is in San D'oria, so I could see it as more helpful. More options are always good though.

ill defenitly agree that traveling 600 places every single day to get mets is highly irratating; And a major time sink.

Mine is in sandy but with the Abyssea NPC in Port Jeuno that is where my home point is most of the time. I am sure that is true for a lot if not most people nowadays.

Well, there's airships for a reason, I guess. But I don't disagree, being able to buy a GP item for teleporting to your guild would be ace. I just wouldn't count on anything lower than a 24 hour recast. But then for me it's not a problem. I could see it being great for console players, however, even though most if not all of them can check online to figure out what they need just like me.
It's a neat idea, But if you find yourself going to your guild related town often i'd just keep my HP set there. Between Outposts, Maw warps from Horst, 10 point warp scrolls via conquest points, you have a decent amount of options. Even more if you have a whm or blm sub job. (assuming you are crafting on a main character and not a mule)
An item like that would also steal the thunder away from "Ease of Exploration" when it is available from mog tablet collections. Making it no longer special.
