Gamepad Config is causing controller disconnects

Steps:
1. Controller appears to be disconnecting at multiple instances since in-game Gamepad Config menu option introduced.
2. Mocements such as placing controller aside causes disconnects.
3. Reconnection (or detection of controller) occurs three to six seconds later.
4. Started out as infrequent, but has become a frequent occurrence disrupting gameplay.

Steps:
1. Wired USB DualShock 4 controller “loses” connection to the game frequently since the latest patch. “Reconnects” a few seconds later. Can occur several times per hour. This was never an issue prior to the game update. Tried with a separate DualShock 4 controller and recreated the same issue.
