Hi,

I'm doing WoTG missions, and now have this side quest where I have been trying to get the the KI's from fishing in the quest.

I have got the CS when I came to Beaucedine S, and again a new CS when I checked the Colossal Footprint behind the tower at (I-7). And there I was given a CS with the Giga's. And after, was I asked to go get 3 items.

I have picked up the Goliath Worms by examine the Rocky Perch by the lake at (G-10. I have tryed using a Halycon Rod and a Carbon Fish. Rod. I have tryed fishing in all 3 lakes/pond and all I get is the msg "You diden't catch anything"

I have gone back, speaking to the NPC's involved. I have checked all points, still nothing. I contacted a GM ingame, and he said I had to post this topic on forum for help. So hope you can help me as soon possible thanks!

Just ruling out some possible oversights:

You have the Goliath Worm actually equipped in your Ammo slot.
You don't have a macro or gearswap that is automatically de-equipping your Goliath Worm in favour of another Fishing Tackle.
You haven't already hit the cap for the number of fish you've caught that day (200).
The Key Items aren't already on your Temporary Key Items list (ie the chat log notification didn't display when you caught them).

I have been naked, nothing else but the fishing rod and worm equipped. And far from cap on fish caught per day. I still can't get the KI's. And yes I have been given all CS for this quest. All I can't get is the KI's from the 3 ponds.

And GM ingame will not do anything about it

OKay, finally something must have been wrong SE wise. Took the same rod and bait, and fished, all 3 times it worked as it should.

Thanks for the help, topic is no longer needed :)

Sometimes the fishing fatigue system screws up, even when you've caught zero fish for the day it fails to function properly. At least it's resolved.
