This needs to be fixed sooner rather than later, for those of us who use storage slips 20 to 30, not having names and just a "." makes it harder to retrieve the gear we need.

Agreed. This is a really bad bug.
Some folks are getting around it by Sorting slips and using trial and error, but it's not comfortable and it's a bad experience.

Why has this bug report not been accepted yet, it appears in the correct format and is a major error impacting those of us who use storage slips 20 to 30.

It's not a real bug; it's only a localization error.

Slightly stunned that they updated the client today and didn't fix this. Evidence that no-one at S-E plays the EN version of the game or looks at the forums?

Yes, it's strange how one bug has been acknowledged and fixed (as posted here on the forum), but not the other.

I agree. I can be patient, but it is a rather annoying bug. It would be nice to see an acknowledgement vs wondering if SE is even aware of the issue.

I was actually just contacted by a GM regarding this so they are definitely aware and investigating.
