Barspells?

I'll be honest, after building a barspell set over a period of time and thinking about it. I don't really see any difference. Barblind and you still get blinded for 2 minutes. How exactly is it meant to work? Does it reduce timers or create a small chance of said player resisting?

bar spells increase the chances of resisting the relevant element/ effect. They don't prevent the effect occuring, and unless a resist actually occurs, the duration won't be different.
