Shown here was only one item being displayed as being dropped. By normal standard, there should of been two, due to two chests being opened. Right after this there was a slient crash.
Relauched client and double checked inventroy to see if any items were there that were not previously there and none were found.

That looks a lot like the loud thud chest was going to drop a Rare item, but everyone in party had it so it didn't get put into the treasure pool. Might not be a bug, exactly, though with how uncommon a loud thud chest really is, you'd think it could at least reroll on the "prizes nobody really wants from trove" table when this happens.

Perhaps you already had the other item around, and as such, the reward was skipped completely.

I'm not entirely sure that it works this way here, and it would definitely be nice if a different item was chosen instead.

Not a glitch, whatever the loud thud was was a rare or rare ex item that all in party/alliance had already. If everyone has it, it won't drop to pool.

Sadly makes sense. Kinda sucks with how Loud Thuds are, but if it follows the normal loot rules, it all adds up.

I don't think the loud thud is a 100% guarantee of equipment?
