Hi,

Is there something that can be done with Qultada's exp rolls? What I mean is that during campaigns, if you have a ring active, he will exp roll, but then you kill one higher level monster which removes your exp boost and therefore the exp roll is changed to a combat based one.

Maybe increase the cap limit on the rings?

Also, would it be possible to be able to manually remove your EXP boost (added by rings) so that Qultada does a combat based roll when fighting say a UNM?

Thanks.

Could have it work as a synergy effect with some ToAU trust. Where he just rolls it. Changing rings would be fruitless.

They should make Kupofried's exp boost count as a commitment effect to trigger Qultada's Corsair's Roll.

Or have some other way to trigger him to use the roll that isn't dependent on a limited use item.

That sounds a little too much like being able to have any tiny modicum of control over how our trusts behave, though, which the devs have already emphatically stated is not compatible with their vision of how trusts are meant to work. Take them as they are, doing what they do how and when they choose to do it, or do without.

Just make luzaf always give Corsair's Roll and Beast Roll.

Solves 3 problems at once. Makes luzaf useful, gives bsts a roll, fixes the exp roll issues.

I'm available to consult on such easy solutions anytime.
