FFXI explodes on me 40% of the time when I zone into my Moghouse or just teleport somewhere, it doesn't happen very often but when it does it's quite annoying...

I get an error : Error Code : POL-0250

This error code also pops up when I idle for an hour and my Screen turns black due to Conserving the PC's Power after being Idle.

It seems to do this only when my Computer conserves power and makes it hard to Bazaar. Help! What's going on?

Computers going to sleep will always crash FFXI. Unfortunately, the only way to fix that is to just turn off your computer's sleep mode for nights when you want to bazaar. As for zoning crashes, I would highly recommend running a FFXI File Check from the Playonline Viewer menu. It's possible one or more of your DAT files is corrupt, especially if it tends to happen in the same zone(s).

I hadn't realized that it happens t everyone when in sleep mode. Maybe I'll just suck it up and Bazaar on my Xbox but I hate leaving it on while I sleep. I am paranoid about it right now making weird sounds <.<

Double check your firewall/routing rules also. A couple times when I had issues with certain zones, I caught IP's being blocked by the firewall. Set up the port forwarding rules, or reverse-lookup the IP's getting blocked in your firewall logs and if you find ones for POL or registered to SE, whitelist them (some don't return DNS names, but if you research the IP somewhere like dnsstuff.com, you will see that it is querying the SE DNS servers for info).

You're probably better off leaving your PC on for long durations over your Xbox, anyway. The zoning issue could be trickier, but others have pointed out some of the possibilities.
