I'm not sure if this is expected behaviour, but I just tested that you can use primeval brew before entering Shinryu, and it will stay on unlike most other buffs.

Dude..... this is a huge bonus. Why would you report this and ask them to fix it?

Because he grinds it out on RDM painfully slow when you add it up over the hundreds of attempts.

If the devs noticed it themselves and didn't intend for it, there might be some kind of bug abuse bans over it; if it gets reported, it's out in the open and the worst that's likely to happen is that it gets patched out.

Who knows, maybe this is going to end up dropped into "working as intended" and we'll know that was always the intended strategy. Wouldn't that be nice?

It be comedic in the extreme to ban anyone over this. Especially with how rampant botting is. In fact there is a guy botting Sovereign Behemoth this very moment on Asura.

Of course. Square-Enix would never ban players for taking advantage of a bug or unintentional programming oversight to defeat an intentionally very challenging foe in an unintended way which circumvents a large part of the potential danger.
