can not upgrade ninja relic head

when ever I try to upgrade the Ninja Relic head to l109 all that happens is the NPC takes my Rem Tails and then tells me how many she is holding, I have completed COP and beaten all Dynaminsis . I have tried the base head and the upgraded head to no avail. I have upgraded the Ninja pants and Both the blm and thf heads to l109 with no problems . I have talked to both NPC's wile the armor is equipped and I am sure i am trading the correct materials .

50% of the time people give the wrong mats. 50% they already made it. it's never a bug. It's always user error.

I have tried the fully upgraded head with the 5 rem tails chapter 1 relic iron and phoenix feather , i have tried a base one with the 10 rem tails 2 100 byne bills relic iron and phoenix feather and all she takes is the rem tails and then tells me how many she has stored no i have never made that piece

By fully upgraded head are you doing koga hatsuburi +2 With the augmented trial done?

And are you sure you've never made this before please do /itemsearch "mochizuki Hatsuburi" and check storage slip 17 for the item.

The only times I have ever seen the npc fail are not trading the exact materials or if the item was already made before.

Realized it's abbreviated so it's /itemsearch "mochi. hatsuburi"

yes both of the megan trails item search came up no instance found and i have never stored any armor

I have no idea why this worked but if farmed a new one and it upgraded no problems thanks for everyone that offered help

Never actually bothered to get the augment trial and then upgrade. Did you finish the RP and then never officially turn it in at the moogle. That would explain it. It would've been stuck between +2 and +2aug
